The Rains of War: Second Edition (plus new trailer video)

Categories: M. H. Mayfield, The Rains of War, Tags: , , , , , , ,

Greetings, friends, and many thanks for your patience. It may seem that we have been absent a while, but we have been busy with life. I’m sure you understand…

About three years ago (has it really been that long???) we published the second edition of The Rains of War, by our very own M. H. Mayfield. The new edition included new cover art and an updated interior design. You can purchase a copy in paperback or Kindle exclusively from Amazon.com. Here is a direct link to the page for both versions:

Today we released a new trailer video for that book.

We used many of the original photos, but included new music and art, as well as additional credits and titles. We felt the black and white version created a better introduction to the dark and perilous time of the New World, a world without technology and our “modern conveniences”. And the new music also works better with the war theme.

We hope you like the new trailer. If so, please like and share to your favorite social media network. Here’s a direct link for you to share:

Happy Independence Day to all of our American friends! Thank you for visiting!

Tommy is one of our authors, and was interviewed about his accident and book for a local news station. Watch the video at http://www.koaa.com/videos/one-arm-skydiver-writes-book/.

If you haven’t yet read Tommy’s memoir of the ordeal that resulted in the loss of his arm, check it out. It’s available at most popular online retail book shops, in most e-reader formats and as a paperback. Thank you for visiting Wandering Bard Press. We are a small publishing company looking for talented writers who wish to publish their work, but don’t know how to get started. We specialize in e-books, but also can arrange for print-on-demand paperback books.

The Rains of War

The Rains of War

In the year 573 of the New World, technology is dead, and governments have collapsed, returning to feudal kingdoms. Global warming has caused severe changes in the weather, as well as in transportation and farming. Warfare is now fought hand-to-hand, and the majority of the world’s populations live hand-to-mouth.

In what was once England and Scotland, war is brewing. In an effort to discover her sister’s fate, Kyrie is joined by a group of companions, all headed for a future from which they cannot escape.

If you are interested in publishing your first (or second, or twenty-ninth) book, and looking for a publisher who cares about helping you get started in e-publishing, email us at contact (AT) wanderingbardpress DOT com.
