The Rains of War: Second Edition (plus new trailer video)

Categories: M. H. Mayfield, The Rains of War, Tags: , , , , , , ,

Greetings, friends, and many thanks for your patience. It may seem that we have been absent a while, but we have been busy with life. I’m sure you understand…

About three years ago (has it really been that long???) we published the second edition of The Rains of War, by our very own M. H. Mayfield. The new edition included new cover art and an updated interior design. You can purchase a copy in paperback or Kindle exclusively from Amazon.com. Here is a direct link to the page for both versions:

Today we released a new trailer video for that book.

We used many of the original photos, but included new music and art, as well as additional credits and titles. We felt the black and white version created a better introduction to the dark and perilous time of the New World, a world without technology and our “modern conveniences”. And the new music also works better with the war theme.

We hope you like the new trailer. If so, please like and share to your favorite social media network. Here’s a direct link for you to share:

Happy Independence Day to all of our American friends! Thank you for visiting!

New Author? Apparently not the one we thought…

Categories: Uncategorized, Tags: , ,

A few weeks ago I posted that we expected to publish the work of a new author here. Unfortunately, that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen.

However, all is not lost! We do expect to publish a different author’s work in the VERY near future! This author will be offering short booklets and guides to increasing creativity, using very simple techniques, prompts and exercises. As an experiment, these will only be offered in e-reader formats for the time being.

We hope to announce a publication date for the first guide soon, so stay tuned.

Congrats to Tommy Fergerson!

Tommy is one of our authors, and was interviewed about his accident and book for a local news station. Watch the video at http://www.koaa.com/videos/one-arm-skydiver-writes-book/.

If you haven’t yet read Tommy’s memoir of the ordeal that resulted in the loss of his arm, check it out. It’s available at most popular online retail book shops, in most e-reader formats and as a paperback. Search for “What The Freak Did I Hit?”, or contact Tommy at his business in Pueblo, Colorado to get an autographed copy of the paperback.
